Gujarati cuisine is largely vegetarian and absolutely delicious. Unlike cuisine in the rest of the country most of the dishes are sweet. The best part are the snacks or farsan - try the Dhoklas, Khandvi and Khakras. Liquor is not easily available in restaurants in the city.
